After the DAVINCIS fell apart (can't really remember why, but Andie was no longer around), Stu, Deak and myself formed TRASK. We cajouled Martin "Ruffy" Ruff out of Suburbanality to join us and return to what he used to do with us in THE CRISPS (play bass). It's around this time that the rehearsal in one of our players on this page comes from. It's us 4 without Trev (as he was still in London at the time) working on 2 new songs. This recording is the only time these 2 songs were played. When Trev moved back up to Shrewsbury from London, we started again. Not being able to come up with a decent name for the band, the 5 of us settled on taking the first initial of each others names for the band's name. TRASK was born!
We practiced and recorded several rehearsals and demos. Our 1st demo, featuring YOU, BLONDE, CHIME and NOTHING ELSE WILL DO is featured here. We played some stellar gigs around the Uni's of Londinium, before we headed off to the border town of Oswestry and THE TANNERY STUDIO (owned by ORCHESTRAL MANOUEVERS IN THE DARK, no less) to record our 1st 12" E.P. We self-financed and released THE TRASK E.P. in July '93 on our own GUD record label .

Andrew stepped away from music, Ruffy moved back to suburban living, Stu moved to Canada (and then came back .. joined up with me in OTHERSIDE, and at the time of writing; is playing in the magnificent EGO FRIENDLY), Trev moved back down to London (and then came back, where he eventually became the singer for the first incarnation of OTHERSIDE) and I gave up on music for the next 7 years.
